Reverse Proxy
A reverse proxy relays requests on behalf of the back-end HTTP server(s). This is useful to protect the content of web servers and limits the requests to only those that are legitimate to view the web content. The reverse proxy works on the application layer and supports HTTP 1.0 and HTTP 1.0. This technology prevents direct access to your web servers and improves your security on a higher level of the OSI model.
Load Balancing
Our reverse proxy appliance provides load balancing to the web server back-end. This enables you to share the load of the HTTP traffic on to different web servers and gives you the ability to do maintenance on one or more machines without having any down time for your customers.
